Wine of the past and of the present

The Lubusz Centre for Viticulture (Lubuskie Centrum Winiarstwa – LCW) is a one-of-a-kind vibrant wine museum in Poland. A visit to the Centre will satiate both your soul and your senses, with a conference room that can host winemaking, sommelier and culinary workshops. The Centre serves as a research and education hub for students of viticulture at the University of Zielona Góra, as well as an advisory centre for local winemakers. It also has an educational section with an interactive conference room, a winemaking exhibition and a showroom, where you can learn about the winemaking process, as well as the Lubusz Wine and Honey Trail, and other tourist attractions of the Lubusz region. You can also get to know the winemaking history of these lands.

The LCW organises

  • visits for individual tourists and groups in three languages (Polish, English  and German);
  • events in line with the winemaking calendar: Open Vineyard Weekends,  the Harvest at the Local Government Vineyard, and the Young Wine Festival;
  • lessons on the winemaking history of the region for youngsters;
  • sommelier workshops;
  • culinary shows;

Inspiring meetings

The Lubusz Centre for Viticulture is the perfect place for conferences, training sessions, symposia and workshops. The functional and modern building in which the Centre is housed was awarded a prize in the Lubusz Master of Construction contest, and is fully adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.

The Centre offers:

  • a spacious conference room for about 100 people,
  • an exhibition room on the history of winemaking,
  • an interactive conference room,
  • events organised against the beautiful backdrop of the vineyards,
  • a room where you’ll learn about the wine making process,
  • free parking.
